Parameter Description
The AMO ACMSM ( ACL Manager Specification of Communication Parameters ) specifies all parameters needed by the ACL Manager to allow communication between an ACL application and the ACL Complex .
Before executing the ADD-ACMSM command, one must execute first ADD-CPSM / CPTP command in order to configure the port on the server and the physical communication parameters of the application.
The execution of DELETE-CPSM / CPTP command has to be immediately followed by the execution of DELETE-ACMSM command .
One must also execute the ADD-XAPPL command before executing ADD-ACMSM.
ADD-XAPPL configures an application number for the ACL application as well as the CP specific information for the ACL application .The execution of ADD-XAPPL is not necessary for the configuration of the Message Trace Function. However, the assignment of an application number for the Message Trace Function should be coordinated with the application numbers already configured through ADD-XAPPL.
Depending on whether the ACL application is host-based or server-based, the relationships between fields in the commands CPSM, CPTP, XAPPL and ACMSM are shown in the Tables below:
