13.3.1
ACTIVATE-APC
The specified application for the specified loading place in the specified server is transferred to the PGL loading tables.
The AMO ensures that a subsystem is entered only once in a loading table; that is, only subsystems not yet entered for the server are applied to the specified loading place.
It is not possible to activate applications in servers IHS and ISU at the same time.
If the loading place is not named, BP (local MEM) will be taken instead of it.
The information saying which directory contains the subsystem that is to be entered is obtained by the AMO straight from the PGLIB by reading the RMX directory files.
The AMO does not ensure whether the specified subsystem configuration really has enough space in the server’s existing memories.
The PGLIB loading tables are overwritten at every change.
The following points are valid only for IHS applications.
If the subsystem name ZDAIHS00 is identified, it will be converted, prior to entry in the loading table, to the subsystem name of the database of the specified server.
If the subsystem name ZMDAMCJ0 is identified, it will be converted (in the case of server ADS) to the subsystem name ZMDAMCJA.
When "SERVER=ADS" is specified, "ZDAIHS00" ==> "ZDAADS00" and "ZMDAMCJ0" ==> "ZMDAMCJA".
