Parameter Description
The APS of the Hicom system has 3 tables in each of which real output devices are assigned to the symbolic output devices used by the AMOs to output results. These tables are listed below:
•
standard device assignment table for external connections (SATEC) (Logon extern).
This table contains the device assignments to be used generally if AMOs are called via terminals or data lines.
•
standard device assignment table for internal connections (SATIC) (Logon intern).
This table contains the device assignments to be used generally if APS’s that are not AMOs send outputs to a device.
•
a session-specific device assignment table (SCT).
The assignments from the SATEC or from the SATIC are transferred to this table when a session is opened, depending on whether the session was opened by a terminal, or via data link, or by an APS.
The AMO ASSGN can display or change the device assignments of all three tables.
A change in a standard assignment table effects all subsequent sessions, while a change in the session-specific assignment table is effective only for the duration of the session.
