26.3.3 ADD-BCSM

Depending on the value specified for the parameter TYPE, the operator can

install in the BC depending on the parameter CONF the type of server shelf, a new loadware or the line modules for a server by declaring the slot and part numbers. Only complete line module configurations can be declared.

install in the EC depending on the parameter CONF the type of server shelf, a new loadware or the line modules for a server by declaring the slot and part numbers. Only complete line module configurations can be declared.

install in the SWU depending on the parameter CONF a new loadware or the line modules for a server.
The board has to be configured by AMO BSCU in the same HW position (LTG, LTU, SLOT).
An automatic check by the AMO can not be provided.

From the version HiPath 4000 V2.0 the hardware and loadware of PSIO board cannot be added any longer ( i.e. the PSIO board is not marketed any longer.

reserve or block the Data-Processor-Ports for RMX.
A reservation or block of Data-Processor-Ports for RMX is not any longer possible in a cPCI - Shelf all Data-Processor-Ports being reseved permanently for UNIX.
