59.1 Restrictions

Since the MML-command contains hyphens ( punctuation marks ), it has to be set between double quotation marks. Therefore the MML-command itself occurring in an ADD-command of AMO CRON must not contain double quotation marks !

•

The length of the MML-command is max. 78 characters.

Remark: Up to version HiPath 4000 V1.0 inclusively the length of the MML-command
is max. 48 characters

•

On principle AMO’s residently loaded cannot be executed via AMO CRON at specified times.

AMO DSSM is the only residently loaded AMO. Therefore AMO DSSM cannot be
executed via AMO CRON.

•

All ’dialog - AMO’s cannot be executed via AMO CRON.

A ’dialog - AMO’ has the following characteristic properties:

1.

The AMO must be started using a command ( e.g.: EXEC-DISPA:A1; )

2.

Only after the start commands can be entered ( dialog - modus ). The entering of commands is prompted.

3.

The AMO must be terminated using a command.

By the following reasons the AMO CRON should only be used by EXPERTS:

1.

The correctnes of parameter values is not checked in any way by AMO CRON. Therefore the user is exlusively responsible for the correctness and executability of the entered commands.

2.

The application of many AMO’s requires special system know how.

3.

Loss of data, falsification of data or a restart of the system can be the result of an improper use of AMO’s.
