DELETE-DASM
All areas of the specified device, starting with that area which is defined by FROMAREA, are erased from the database with this function.
Example: FROMAREA = G ; G, H, I,J and K will be errased.
If no area is entered (independent from device type) , all installed areas will be deleted.
NOTE:
When areas are only deleted without following
ADD-DASM
, a REGEN with following GENDB will add an area with the free space. (siehe
ADD-DASM
).

Examples

All areas of the device on controller 1, starting with area F, are to be deleted on the administration and data server.
