The AMO is used to administrate the flag byte table and the trunk number table.
The flag bytes are used in the message to the DPS and can be changed to suit individual customer requirements.
The trunk number table contains the assignments of virtual CO trunk numbers to actual CO trunks.
a)
Flag byte table
The flag bytes (maximum of 2) are used in the message to the DPS and can be changed to suit customer requirements.
In flag byte 1, only the bit positions 0 to 5 can be used.
Definition of bit positions 6 and 7:
BIT 6 = 1: Output was started by a timer job.
BIT 7 = 1: Output was started by file overflow.

Trunk number table
Independent of its hardware address, each CO trunk can be assigned a virtual CO trunk number.
The trunk numbers are entered in ascending order. There are a maximum of 870 entries possible.
