Parameter Description
This AMO provides information regarding files located on hard disk, cartridge, DAT, flash memory or tape.
The amount of information can be controlled via parameter TYPE with the possible values: small, medium, or large.
Information regarding entire groups of files is possible also by specifying a partly qualified name.
Contents of the File Description:
Small amount of information:

Medium amount of information - in addition to above:

Type of file: dir file, data file
•
Size of file in bytes
•
Record length (SAM files)
•
fixed or variable record length (SAM files)
Large amount of information - in addition to above:

File granularity
•
File connections

Read connections

Write connections

Open share
•
Owner (user ID)
•
Number of volume blocks of the file (occupied space)
•
Volume name
•
Size of volume in bytes
•
Access rights (read, write, append, delete)
