AMO checks
1.
The permissible values for the TONIN / TONOUT parameter depend on the numbering plan and are already checked by the command interpreter when entered.
•
NPI = PRIVATE:
TONIN / TONOUT = LEVEL2 or LEVEL1 or LOCAL or UNKNOWN
•
NPI = ISDN:
TONIN / TONOUT = INTERNAT or NATIONAL or SUBSCR or UNKNOWN
A check is performed for ADD and CHANGE.
2.
A destination node number with a value of 0 (0, 0-0, 0-0-0) is invalid. In such a case, error message F01 is output.
A check is performed for ADD, CHANGE, DELETE, DISPLAY and REGENERATE.
3.
Destination node numbers can comprise up to 3 levels; each level has its own permissible range of values:
•
LEVEL0: 0 - 999
•
LEVEL1: 0 - 253
•
LEVEL2: 0 - 29
The range of values for level 0 is checked by the command interpreter. The AMO checks levels 1 and 2 and issues error message F02 in the event of incorrect values.
The value 0 is also invalid for level 1 if level 0 and level 2 of the destination node number are greater than 0 (e.g. 3-0-5).
This error is indicated by error message F03.
Checks are performed for ADD, CHANGE, DELETE, DISPLAY and REGENERATE.
4.
The following dependencies exist between the local physical node number and the virtual destination node number:
The destination node number must not be identical with the physical node number defined by AMO ZAND, parameter PNNO (F09). Different levels between DNNO and ZAND/PNNO are allowed..
A check is performed for ADD.
•
DNNOs are no longer adjusted to ZAND/PNNO.
5.
TONIN / TONOUT - depenencies: At least 1 parameter has to be specified. If a parameter is reset (by action CHANGE) and both parameters would be left reset, the command is rejected by F10.
6.
If a valid value for parameter TONIN has been entered (by action ADD or CHANGE), the entered DNNO should be member of the OWN part of KNDEF table. If KNFOR does not find DNNO in KNDEF table, H04 is displayed and the command is nevertheless performed.
