KNLCR - Administration Source Dependent Routing
Interrelationships
Parameter Descriptions
Functions of the AMO
Error Messages and Advisories
The AMO KNLCR administers the class-of-service powersets which are used to modify the Least Cost Routing Access Rights for the path selection only. This feature enables to choose a different LCR route depending on originating (source) and destination node defined via AMO RICHT. For this particular purpose, the node defined by AMO LDAT does not overwrite the DNNO of AMO RICHT.
The LCR route is controlled by the enabled Least Cost Routing Access Rights. These enabled LCR classes-of-service (LCR in LCOSV/LCOSD) are administered by the AMO COSSU. It is possible to modify these enabled LCR classmark subset as a function of source and destination node. Two LCR class-of-service powersets are used for this modification. One access right powerset is used for reducing access rights from LCR classmark subset and the other for adding specified rigths. Using the modified LCR access rights as usual enables choosing one route and prevent choosing another route depending on source/destination information. The modification is working for the current connection only, without permanent changes in LCOSV/LCOSD of the calling party.
Both LCR class-of-service powersets are administered using the AMO KNLCR. The class-of-service powersets can be created and deleted, changed, displayed and regenerated. If a change is made the existing class-of-service powersets are changed by adding and removing or by a new size definition of classes-of-service. A table entry is removed on action DELETE. The created class-of-service powersets can be displayed by using the actions “DISPLAY” and “REGENERATE”.
The 3-level source and destination node number is used for addressing the connection, for which the LCR Access Rights are supposed to be modified. A 3-level node number can be fully qualified (1-2-45) or partial qualified (1-0-0). In a partial qualified node number "0" is to be interpreted as "don’t care". If the same LCR class-of-service powersets are to be used for all nodes in the own subdomain, the entry is made under the node number n-m-0. If individual nodes are to be selectively excluded, entries must be made for these specifying node number n-m-a.
The source and destination node number must be virtual node ID’s. The virtual node ID’s must be different to the physical node id of the own node (of AMO ZAND).
The AMO does not perform any logical check on the source and destination node number.
