Parameter Description
The AMO LWPAR is used to parameterize the loadware for analog and digital networking (NW) circuits of the following modules:
Analog Circuits
•
TMBS = Trunk Module Bothway Satellite = Satellite PABX traffic with loop signaling, bothway
•
TMIPI = Trunk Module Inter PABX Incoming = Incoming inter-PABX traffic
•
TMIPO = Trunk Module Inter PABX Outgoing = Outgoing inter-PABX traffic
•
TMBCT = Trunk Module Bothway Alternating Current Tone Frequency = Satellite PABX traffic with AC voice frequency signaling system no. 1 (WTK1), bothway
•
TMEM = Trunk Module E&M (ear & mouth) - signaling = Satellite PABX traffic with AC voice frequency signaling system no. 1 (WTK1) via E&M interface, bothway
The tables for the loadware parameters are part of the standard data base.
For the analog networking circuits, the blocks in question must be assigned the appropriate circuit type and, if required, adapted by the AMO LWPAR.
Assignment to circuit types is completely unrestricted.
A maximum of 80 different parameter blocks can be assigned. (0 - 79)
Parameter blocks are assigned to the analog circuits with AMO TACSU, parameter LWPAR.
Digital Circuits
The branch TYPE=DIUS2 is valid for the following modules: DIUS2, DIUS7, SLMN and VCM.
The branch TYPE=CDG is valid for the module CDG.
The branch TYPE=TMD is valid for the module TMD (BOS or MOS mode).
The parameter blocks are assigned to the digital circuits (e.g. DIU-S2, CDG or TMD) with the AMO TDCSU, parameter LWPAR.
Circuits of the DIUC module
•
DIUC = Digital Interface Unit Channel-associated signaling = the digital module for the PCM30 interface.
Parameter blocks are assigned to the DIUC circuits with AMO BCSU, parameter LWPAR1 and LWPAR2.
The parameter blocks are permanently assigned for digital circuits (0-25 for DIUS2, 0-49 for CDG, 200 blocks for TMD-MOS and 200 for TMD-BOS) and DIUC circuits (1-6), and for this reason the AMO LWPAR function ADD is not provided for the digital circuits and DIUC circuits. Any required alterations of the parameter blocks are carried out with the function CHANGE.
The AMO LWPAR must be called before the AMO TACSU or TDCSU.
In order for parameterizing to take effect, the parameter blocks must be loaded to the respective module. This applies for both initial assignment of a parameter block and for subsequent alterations of parameters. Loading of the parameter blocks is carried out automatically at the time of initial startup of the circuit; for subsequent alterations it is carried out by deactivating and then reactivating the circuit involved using AMO DSSU. What circuits definitely have been changed will be told by advisory H04.
What circuits of the CDG board have been changed - if there is any - will be told by advisories H06 resp. H07.
Copying digital parameter blocks
There are predefined standard parameter blocks on the HD for digital circuits DIUS2, CDG and TMD which can be copied from HD to DB by the help of command COPY-LWPAR. The parameter SOURCE may be used to specify whether the parameter block is to be copied within the DB (from source to target position) or from the HD to DB. The target block (parameter BLNONEW) will be overwritten in the copy process without precaution.
Morover there are country specific combinations (called variants) of these standard parameter blocks on the HD which can be copied at once by using the command
"COPY-LWPAR:TYPE=DIUS2/CDGVAR, VARNO=x;".
