Veco-statistics
The Veco-statistics serve to prevent multiple messages,caused by systematic errors or errors in frequently used program parts of the call-processing. It is the objective, to avoid these multiple signallings for the same object outside the dependability complex.
With the statistics switched on, a message will be issued on the first occurrence of an error, and thereafter, when the error-frequency surpasses the adjusted threshold, or a multiple thereof, within the statistic perriod. When the statistic period is reached, the counter is reset.
With the veco statistics switched on, the message display can be controlled by the parameter MODE:
•
MODE = MSGON: error messages will periodically be displayed, according to the given parameters;
•
MODE = MSGOFF: there is no periodic display, the statistics, however, are active and can be displayed.
The following significant values of the veco statistics can be displayed and changed by this AMO:
•
switch off the veco statistics or switch it on (with or without message display);
•
display or change the thresholds of the statistics counters;
•
statistics period
•
device-related suppression of message-display;
•
the counter values can be displayed.
