The following modules or device types use timers which are set using AMO PTIME.

SLMA ( Q2041, Q2141, Q2157 )

These modules are parameterized in the branch TYPE=SLMA. The preset values apply to all modules of the above type used in the system, can be changed by AMO and are preinitialized in the database.

Changeable parameters of specified modules:

Q2041 only the parameters RNGON0 to RNGON5.
Q2141 und Q2157: all parameters

On interrogation of the peripheral timers of SLMA the values of all parameters added in the database are displayed, but only the values of parameter RNGON0 to RNGON5 are valid for all SLMA types. The other parameters RNGON61 to FLASH are only valid for SLMA type Q2141 and Q2157 (see Output example DISPLAY-PTIME:SLMA;)

Note:

All parameter RUFAN../RUFAB.., except RUFAN5, will be also valid for the Optiset-/OptiPoint family. These timers will be not loaded onto the module and medd therefore no deactivation/activation with AMO DSSU.

SLMA1 ( Q2141, Q2157, Q2146, Q2191, Q2184, Q2227, Q2246, Q2480 )

These modules are parameterized in the branch TYPE=SLMA1. A maximum of 16 different parameter blocks are allowed for this module (parameter TBLK= 0 to 15). When configuring the terminals (only on these modules) with the aid of AMO SCSU, these modules are assigned the parameter CIRCIDX = 0 to 15.

The 16 parameter blocks are initialized with valid values (blocks 0 and 1 are preinitialized for "Spain" and block 2 is preinitialized for "France"). Blocks 3 and 15 are initialized in accordance with generally valid values (for values see Parameter Description). For any applications (e.g. other countries) which have not been prepared the initialized times must be checked and, if necessary, changed for each parameter.

In the case of the SLMA1 module, trunk-specific parameterizations are possible (up to 16 different parameter blocks).

Note:

When DIAL parameter in AMO SCSU is set to VAR, flash timing for SLMAV works between 80ms (even if default value for FLASHMIN is set to 40ms in AMO PTIME:SLMA1) to the value of the parameter FLASHMAX in AMO PTIME.

To use a flash timing less than 80ms with analog stations connected to a SLMAV board, then you need to change other settings.

The DIAL and CCTIDX parameters in AMO SCSU must be set to DTMF and table number from AMO PTIME, branch SLMA1, respectivelly. For example, DIAL=DTMF,CCTIDX=3.

Timing values used will be get from table block 3 (AMO PTIME:SLMA1).

FLASHMIN in AMO PTIME:SLMA1 must be set to desired value, in case it is set to greater value.

Analog trunk circuits of device type TSAC

Six different parameter blocks are reserved under TYPE = TSAC for this case. Parameter TBLK = 0 to 5 specifies the timer blocks which are assigned DEV = TSAC and CIRCIDX = 0 to 5 during circuit configuration. These 6 parameter blocks are initialized with the same, valid values.

By default, AMO TACSU assigns block 0.

Analog trunk circuits with extended circuit data on the loadware (AMO TACSU)

A maximum of 32 different parameter blocks can be created in the database for these circuits under TYPE = REST. These blocks are initialized with CIRCIDX = 0 to 31 upon configuration of the circuits using AMO TACSU.

This applies to all devices listed in the parameter description of parameter DEV. For each device type, there is a parameter set with valid values on the hard disk (see Appendix).

The database also contains 32 parameter blocks which have been initialized as "empty" parameter blocks. Using the COPY-PTIME command the "initialized" blocks can be copied into these "empty" blocks and subsequently changed. Upon configuration of these circuits, AMO TACSU scans the 32 parameter blocks in the DB to find a parameter set suitable for the device to be configured. If no suitable parameter set is found, the associated set will be copied from the hard disk into the DB and assigned the corresponding CIRCIDX.

If a suitable parameter set is found in the DB, the device will be assigned the corresponding CIRCIDX (e.g. when the second device of the same type is being configured). Provided that suitable parameters have been initialized, neither the AMO PTIME nor the parameter CIRCIDX must be specified in the AMO TACSU.

If different initializations are required for a device type, the "initialized" parameter block can be copied several times from the hard disk into "empty" parameter blocks in the DB and subsequently changed. In this case, the parameter CIRCIDX must be assigned selectively when configuring the circuits with the aid of AMO TACSU, or else AMO TACSU will assign the first parameter found.

Parameter P12 (AMO PTIME: REST) is used to program the extra impedance index for AMO TACSU on TMANI circuits (extends AMO TACSU, COEX parameter).

Note:

The times for the branches SLMA (only modules Q2141 and Q2157), SLMA1, TSAC and REST are loaded onto the modules when the respective circuits are taken into operation. If a subsequent change is required, all affected circuits must be deactivated and (re-)activated (unconditional loading) using the AMO DSSU (not valid for Optiset/OptiPoint).
