Explanation of symbols used in the Error Messages and Advisories
<xxxxxx> denotes the station number, to which the message refers. The station number is not output in the messages, if the AMO is still verifying parameter entries. Variable text strings are enclosed in pointed brackets and separated with a slash. Only one of these variables is actually contained in the output, depending on the cause of the error.
