Parameter Description
The AMO VADSU is used to administer the validation data of the NMC alarms (NMC = Network Management Center) for the dependability system in the SWU.
At a higher level, these alarms are used to indicate global system faults. At the AMO level, NMC alarms are handled in much the same way as error messages, i.e. they are output to the standard output devices such as printer, PC, RMA (Hicom teleservice or NMC).
Via AMO VADSU the SLA-Time can be entered. THe SLA-Time defines the time interval, within which the alarm ’BAD IP CONNECTIVITY’ is active.
The SNAPSHOT function can be activated and deactivated via AMO VADSU. If the SNAPSHOT is activated, non existent system elements will be excluded from alarm control. If the SNAPSHOT is deactivated, non existent system elements will be submitted to alarm control.
