214.4.1
ADD-VOICO
This function configures the VC connections between a VCM board (VCSU) and a partner board (S0 or S2) (B-channel) in data base. Further the new STMA board working with mode PBB (port backboning) or NW20 (networking 2.0) can be used as partner board as well. In this case the STMA board is handled as S2 board.
Mind following steps:
–
Both boards (VCM andS0/S2) have to be configured.
–
At least on B-channel has to be configured for VCSU to be added, the circuit of a partner board has to be configured too.
–
The VC connection of VCSU 1 has to be added first.
–
All VCM subunits (VCSUs) have to be configured always to the same partner board.
Possible combinations:
VCM board
VCSU
Partner board
Circ./B-Channel

A VC connection can be added in two ways:
–
After adding no activation of VC connection ( INS=N ).
–
After adding activation of VC connection ( INS=Y ).

4.
Add a VC connection with VCSU2 ( VCM pen: 1-1-49-0 ) and B-channel 4 of partner board (pen: 1-2-55-0) . The VC connection should not be activated after adding.
Input:
ADD-VOICO:1-1-49-0,2,1-2-55-0,4;
5.
Add a VC connection with VCSU1 ( VCM pen: 1-1-43-0 ) and B-channel 3 of partner board ( pen: 1-2-55-1 ). The VC connection should be activated after adding.
