The codec information used for a call must be available to the resource
manager in order to calculate the required bandwidth.
In the case of HFA terminals, the setting in the AMO must match
the setting in the terminal (configuration). In our example, the HFA
subscribers have been configured via DLS or the local WBM such that the
HFA devices in the host prefer G.711 and the HFA subscribers behind the
WAN route force G.729A.
The sample size of the IP phones impacts the required bandwidth. A
sample size of 20ms is assumed here both for G.711 and G.729 A. These
values can be changed on the terminal (or via DLS).
