  • IPv6 can be used in OpenScape 4000 Softgate on the vHG3500 SIP trunking (SIP-Q and native SIP) routes.
  • SIP trunking can be used between different HiPath 4000 V6/OpenScape 4000 systems (SIP-Q) or between a HiPath 4000 V6OpenScape 4000 system and an external IPv6 partner, e.g. OpenScape Voice or SIP service providers (native SIP).
  • For internal connectivity, IPv6 can be used between the OpenScape 4000 central switch and OpenScape 4000 SoftGates (TCP signaling) as well as between individual OpenScape 4000 SoftGates (RTP payload).
  • Common gateways (HG 3500) and IPDA boards (NCUI) do not support IPv6.
