MFC/R2 is a telephony signaling protocol which is used to provide signaling between switches. Signaling can be done over analog (TMxxx) or digital (DIUx) trunks with CAS (channel associated signaling).
MFC-R2 signals are provided from vSIUX2. SIUX functionality has been introduced as virtual board for OpenScape 4000 SoftGate/OpenScape Access/Branch 500.
