Under normal circumstances, the Deployment Service (DLS) contacts
the IP terminals via their IP address when a job has been created. In
our remote office case, however, the IP terminals are located in the
Internet, as it were behind a NAT router with a local IP address, which
means that the DLS cannot reach them. The DLS and IP terminals support
a proprietary solution in this case, which allows administration of IP
terminals behind a NAT router. This solution is called DLS Contact-Me
Proxy (DCMP). Communication is always opened by the IP terminal in this
solution.
