14.7.11. Restrictions 
- The HG 3500 only sends digest credentials for Register and Invite requests if a challenge is made. Such user name and password configuration is made in the SIP-Q trunk profile. OpenScape 4000 challenge Digest Authentication only for Registration requests for SIP subscribers.
- In a HiPath 4000/OpenScape 4000 network the payload partners can be set with DMC. But a HiPath 4000/OpenScape 4000 phone can not send / receive the payload direct to the OpenScape Voice partner. There always is a hop on the HG 3500 module.
- If the HG 3500 has more than two partners configured (e.g. proxy) and the REGIP1 fails, the REGIP2 remains registered until REGIP2 is no longer available.
IMPORTANT:
It will not switch back automatically to REGIP1.

- Please be aware that the number of usable B-channels that can be assigned for SIP-Q calls vary dependent on which features (DMC/SPE/QOS collection) are activated and also which type of hardware (STMI2/STMI4/STMIX/STMIY) on OpenScape 4000 is in use. AMOs will make some automatic adjustments, however please reference the OpenScape 4000, Volume 4: IP Solution service documentation for more specific information.
