7.1.3. How to Remove a Root CA Certificate

Those Root CA certificates that are no longer deemed
trusted shall be removed immediately by the user. To remove a Root
CA certificate, apply the following steps:
Step by Step
- Go to the Home screen.
- Tap Settings > Additional Settings > Privacy
> Trusted credentials.
- Find the System tab and tap on it.
All CA certificates that have been installed are displayed here.
- Tap the Root CA certificate name you wish to remove.
The certificate’s details are displayed.
- On the Details screen, tap on the Disable button.
A new pop-up window asks to confirm the Root CA certificate
deletion, since it may interfere the settings on the Android device.
- Tap OK to proceed with the Root CA Certificate deletion.
The user-installed CA certificate is now removed permanently from the Android device
and must be
re-installed if it is needed again.
