3.3.7. How to Add a Participant to a Chat 
You can add one or more participants to a one-to-one or a group chat.
When you
add participants to a one-to-one chat, a new group chat will be created (with no
chat history). This ensures that your original chat remains private and cannot be
viewed by anyone else.
Step by Step
- In OpenScape Mobile Pro, navigate to Chat.
- Tap on the name of the chat to which you want to add a participant.
- Tap
at the top of the screen. - Select one or more contacts from the list, then tap
at the top right
of the screen.INFO:
Only contacts with valid IM address are selectable. The rest of the contacts are grayed out.INFO:
If the desired contact is not listed, you can tap the down arrow above the contacts list and select another group of contacts. - Adding participants to a one-to-one chat, will create a new group chat. Enter a name for the group chat or keep the suggested one, then tap OK.
