14.3.3. Disabling a Rule Previous topic Parent topic Child topic Next topic

Follow the steps below to disable a rule that has been assigned to a profile:

Step by Step

  1. Open the Profiles tab in one of the following ways:
    • Click your user name at the top right of the screen and select Forwarding and rules settings → Profiles.
    • Click forwarding_rules.svg on the top right of the task bar and select Forwarding and rules settings → Profiles.
      INFO:
      This option is only displayed if at least one Rules Profile is available.
  2. Hover over the profile which contains the rule you want to disable and click edit_profile.svg.
  3. In the Rules section, click X next to the rule you want to disable.
  4. Click Save profile.

The rule is no longer associated with the profile.
Alternatively, if you deactivate a profile, the rule/s associated with it are automatically deactivated.
