28.4.1.2 WAML2 module data

The addition of an WAML2 module requires the following procedure:

–

Sufficient memory space for the WAML2 to be added must be reserved in the CC Flexama memory with the AMO DIMSU (Parameter WAML2).

–

A WAML2 module must be added with the AMO BCSU at the specified position (LTG, LTU, SLOT). It is necessary for FCTID=2 to be specified.

No particular sequence is prescribed for the configuration of the tables. However, the following cross-references exist when adding the Global Parameter Table:

•

to the Network Interface Table:
A check is made in this case to ascertain whether the network interface to be activated (parameter ACTNETIF) is added. If it is not added message H13 is output and the command is executed properly.

•

to the IP Routing Table:
No network mask is to be entered for host IP addresses because the network mask has no significance in this case. Even if the network mask has been entered the value 255.255.255.255 is written into the database and message H18 is output. If on the other hand the network mask 255.255.255.255 is specified with network IP addresses the input is rejected with message F34.

•

to the firewall check:
The entries in the firewall MAC address table are used for this depending on the FIREWALL parameter. If the firewall test is activated but there are no valid entries in the associated table then no data packages are transferred.

In order to ensure that IP addresses are unique an IP address may occur only once in all IP address-oriented tables.

After execution of the function ADD the WAML2 configuration data are not loaded to the module. Loading can only be initiated with the EXEC command.
