Parameter Description
The AMO CMP is used to compare individual files and entire program systems.
If a program system is compiled and tested on a reference system for the technical support staff, it may also be faster to get some subsystems to the system by means of private production. Subsystems are patched in the same way. The AMO CMP can be used to determine whether a hard disk functioning in the reference system is identical to a production delivery with imported, patched subsystems. This saves loading the production in the system, booting and matching the features.
It is necessary to give the fully qualified file names when comparing two individual files.
