68.3.3 COPY-DDRSM

With the function COPY-DDRSM for area(s) it is possible to copy the contents of (a) master area(s) to (a) slave one(s) (with the exception of ’PHY’-areas).

With the function COPY-DDRSM for devices it is possible to copy the contents of all areas of a master device to the corresponding slave ones (with the exception of ’PHY’-areas).

The copy process cannot be stopped by breaking off the AMO with the aid of the system command CANCEL! Only the AMO execution will be aborted that way. At the end of the copy process an OS CALL FAULT will be displayed, since the mailbox of the AMO is no more accessible for the end message.

Copy contents of device on controller 2 (master) to device on controller 3 (slave).

Copy contents of areas E and G on controller 6 (master) to areas E and H on controller 1 (slave).

Creating the “Gold Load Area” with the contents of the actual PDS area.
