82.3.1 ACTIVATE-DSSM

Prerequisite for activating a hard disk (HD):

•

At least one area must be defined on the hard disk

•

All areas on the device must be initialized

•

The device must not have a dependability inhibit

When a hard disk is activated, all areas of the hard disk are activated.
