Parameter Description
The AMO "FAMUP" controls the Logical Device Unit (LDU) FAMUP (Remote Administration & Maintenance Update).
The changes in the APS and patch directory are transmitted to the service center at adjustable time intervals.
Additionally, an AMO-stapel is managed by the AMO-FAMUP at adjustable time intervals.
The following functions can be controlled with parameters:
•
FAMUP
Activating/deactivating the execution of AMO-stapel.
•
PROT
The parameter PROT defines whether printout on the service terminal is to be activated or deactivated. Data exchange can be logged at customer’s request. Regardless of parameter PROT, regeneration is additionally recorded in operating file :AMD:FBT/FAMUP/NOUNCO/A. The operating files of the last three bad regeneration runs are all stored under the names :AMD:FBT/FAMUP/REGENERROR1 (or 2 and 3).
•
FTRNS
Activating/deactivating file transmission by file transfer to the SZ. This indicates whether the APS, PATCH-state by LDU FAMUP is to be transmitted to the SZ .
•
RUPSTT
Time when the AMO-stapel is to be started. In addition, the logical device unit (LDU) FAMUP searches the APS-DIR file and the patch directory for changes. The data is then transmitted to the service center by a HICOM file transfer. There will be no transmission if there have been no changes in the patch directory or the APS-DIR file since the last update.
•
RUPINT
This is the interval in days between the starting times. This parameter serves to set the intervals in days at which the execution of AMOCMD, respectively data transmissions at time RUPSTT are started. It must never be ’0’. The longest possible interval is 31 days.
•
SCNAME
This is the name of the destination computer in the SZ. A destination computer must be reported to the Remote A&M UPDATE in the service center for data transmission. (Parameter OSPTNR in AMO
FTCSM
)
•
SZLOGON
The LOGON on the destination computer (SZLOGON) consists of three different components: USERID, ACCT, PASSWORD.
•
SUCCPROC
Filename of the DO procedure for post-processing of data after successful transmission
•
FAILPROC
Filename of the DO procedure for post-processing of data after unsuccessful transmission
