105.2.1
ADD-GETAB
Long dialog is the original form for setting a timer job and can subsequently be replaced by short dialog.
A prerequisite for starting a short dialog is that a dialog field has been set up previously by means of long dialog and that it contains all the values necessary for output (e.g. tariff, output device). In short dialog it is then only necessary to specify the current subscriber number, a subscriber list or a line list and the delete flag.
Immediate output takes place after a short dialog has been created.
When setting timer jobs the user can select between the following 4 possibilities:
a)
one-off timer job single
This is a timer job for a single output at an output time defined by the user. To obtain a correct output, the year, month, day, hour and minute of the starting time must be specified.
b)
one-off timer job multiple
This is a timer job in which the user can define up to 3 outputs in advance, but with the restriction that all outputs must be within a month, since for the second output and the third (if one is specified) the year, month and minutes defined for the first output date are taken, and thus only the day and hour parameters are variable. The first start time must be entered in the same way as described in a). Start times 2 and 3 can then be defined either by simply indicating the day (the hour is then taken from the 1st start time), or by indicating the hour (the day is then taken from the 1st start time). Another possibility is to give a separate day and hour entry both for start time 2 and start time 3. However, in this case the day and hour must be stated for all start times, otherwise the entry is rejected.
c)
periodic timer job single
This is a timer job that results in output at periodic intervals (intervals can be months, days or hours). In addition to the first start time which must be stated in the same way as in a), a period must be entered after which the next output will take place. This period must be expressed in months (1-12), days (1-31) or hours (1-24).
d)
periodic timer job multiple
This is a timer job with which up to 3 different output dates can be defined; a period length is defined additionally. The up to 3 different start times are entered in the same manner as described in b), the period length as in c). To avoid output overlapping, however, the following restrictions must be observed:
1.
If the interval between the individual outputs is greater than one day (i.e. different days were specified for the start times), then the shortest possible period that can be entered is 1 month. (Days and hours are not possible. If they are entered, an error message is issued.)
2.
If the interval between the individual outputs is only in hours (the same day was chosen for the output), the smallest possible period is 1 day (if hours are entered, an error message is issued).
