Figure 1: AMO JOB in the system
From Hicom E V3.0 onward the JOB Task on ADP provides
ONLY for DMS ( Domain Mangement System ) the entry point to execute HICOM AM-Batch files ( the integrated LINUX will not be delivered any more ) .
Short Description
–
The JOB-Task receives messages from DMS containing MML-Batch Jobs via FT-SINIX - FT-HICOM.
–
Data concerning the received Batch Job are entered into the JOB Tab and in case of a periodical job into the CRON Tab.
–
In case of an immediate Batch Job the JOB Task triggers an immediate execution of the Batch Job by the BATCH Task.
–
In case of a periodical Batch Job the CRON Task triggers a periodical ( according to the time stamp contained in the CRON Tab entry ) execution of the Batch Job by the BATCH-Task.
–
After an execution of a Batch Job by the BATCH Task the JOB-Task receives a protocol from the Batch Task. This protocol is forwarded via FT-HICOM - FT-SINIX to the DMS application.
–
If the execution mode of the Batch Job is “O” .... once or “I” .... immediate the corresponding entry of the Batch Job in the JOB-Tab is deleted by the JOB Task immediately after a successful execution of the Batch Job by the BATCH Task.
–
Periodical Batch Jobs can either be deleted by a DELETE ORDER from the DMS application or by a DELETE COMMAND via AMO JOB.
