Parameter Description
The AMO LDB enables the operator to reload the database of a hardware module (SWU, ADS) from hard disk. This is done by setting the database inconsistency bit in the boot communications area (BCA) of the controller concerned. The operator can then initiate a parametric load sequence by means of a hard restart, or with the aid of the AMO
REST
(Restart of a Functional System Unit).
NOTE:
If the SWU is operating in duplex mode a hard restart activates the standby prozessor. The database can only be completely reloaded by calling the AMO LDB twice.
