The Least Cost Routing feature has a set of Schedules that are used when configuring route elements with AMO LDAT. Using the AMO LSCHD up to 8 schedules, identified by the letters A to H, can be defined. These will typically cover the week in bands corresponding to call charging rates. When configuring an LCR route an entry may be made against each schedule to indicate whether or not the route maybe used during the times encompassed by that Schedule, and if so whether or not a special tone must be applied to indicate that the route is an expensive one. The following table shows an example configuration. There is an entry for each day / hour combination which shows the Schedule and the minute past the hour at which changeover to that Schedule will occur. Should the Schedule remain unchanged from the previous hour then no changeover will occur and the minute field will have no relevance.
