153.1.1 Quality counter DIUCAS

A second module level (BOARD1) has been introduced for the DIUC module to count the line alarms for all circuits of the single physical line of a DIUC module. These counters do not result in an automatic removal of the module, they merely serve as a quality counter for line evaluation.

A further level, BOARD2, relates to fault counters of the second physical line of a DIUC-64 module (circuits 32 to 63).

The statistics counters of the BOARD1 and BOARD2 levels are currently used for the following fault types:


COUNT1	local alarms
COUNT2	remote alarms
COUNT3	AIS (Alarm Indication Signal)
COUNT4	automatic removal

The AMO PSTAT is used to display and reset the counters of the peripheral statistics. Resetting is permissible only for counters on the levels BOARD1 and BOARD2.
