Parameter Description
The AMO SYNCA can be used to set up (i.e. ADD) the announcement type table and the announcement matrices for synchronous announcements. It can also be used to CHANGE, DISPLAY and REGENERATE data, and to DELETE announcement types and matrices.
The following tables and matrices are processed:
•
Announcement type table
For each announcement type, the properties of the announcement are specified in an entry.
•
Announcement type table with company indices
This matrix contains the announcement type as a function of the announcement reason and company index. The entry for the announcement reason reduces to the value WANVPLKM. The company index corresponds to the console code number dialed last. In this case, 10 different announcement types can be assigned to each announcement reason.
•
Announcement matrix with ITR group indices
This matrix contains the announcement type as a function of the announcement reason and the ITR group. In this case, 16 different announcement types can be assigned to each announcement reason.
•
Announcement matrix independent of destination
This matrix contains the announcement type as a function of the announcement reason only.
•
Announcement matrix for start and return tone
This matrix contains one start tone and one return tone as a function of the announcement reason.
•
Announcement type / announcement LODEN table
This table is only output by the AMO SYNCA. It contains the announcement devices assigned to a specific announcement type.
An announcement type must only be used or entered in an announcement matrix if the announcement type has already been described in the announcement type table.
When deleting an announcement type from the announcement type table, any remaining cross-references in the announcement matrices will also be deleted upon confirmation by the user.
For all parameters which allow the entry of chained single values and/or value ranges (e.g. ANNTYPE, ANREASON, ITR, etc.) a maximum of 5 values can be entered at present.
The AMO SYNCA allows the entry of all defined tone types. However, the user should check as to whether the selected tone type is actually available in the current system configuration and whether it would make sense!
When using a wildcard (’*’) as part of a search string, it should be noted that the wildcard must be the first and/or last character in the string. If a wildcard is used explicitly as a search string, every announcement name is being searched. This procedure, however, cannot be used to establish an announcement type whose name has not been specified!
