CHANGE-SYNCA
This command can be used to change both the existing data of an announcement type and the announcement matrices. The parameter TABTYPE controls the scope of the changes to be made. When executing the change command, only parameters that have been specified explicitly will be taken into account.
When the wildcard symbol (’*’) is used in the announcement name, the data is changed for all announcement types in whose name the specified character string appears. By specifying chained single values and value ranges as parameters for the AMO call the user can change the data of announcement types and announcement matrices in one go.
The wildcard symbol (’*’) must not be used in the new name when changing the announcement name.
If the parameter values are specified explicitly, only the selected entry will be changed each time. If optional parameters are missing, this means that all entries will be changed within the valid index ranges.
Suggested procedure:
•
Changing the data in a specific table or matrix
This function is selected by specifying a matrix ID or a table ID. The change becomes effective only in the selected table taking into account the specified indices.
The user can restrict the number of announcement types by means of the parameter ANTYOLD. If this parameter is not specified, the elements will be changed independent of their announcement type.
•
Complete change of the announcement type in all announcement matrices
This type of change should be used if an announcement type is to be replaced in a consistent manner in all announcement matrices.
In this case the user can place restrictions on which announcement type(s) is/are to be replaced. If this parameter is not specified, all elements will be changed independent of the announcement type. This ensures that the change is not ignored anywhere in the announcement matrices.
When an interval has been entered in the parameter ANTYOLD all not existing announcement types of this interval are displayed by error message F08. All existing announcement types will be handled in accordance with the given parameters.
Only entries of the announcement matrices are handled, whose data have been set up with a previous ’ADD’-command. For single entries, who do not exist or do not correspond with the entered parameter values, no message is displayed at the users terminal. When at all no corresponding entry is found for a given ’CHA’-command, the message H03 will be put out.

Examples
1.
Announcement type 4 is to be activated and announcement type 23 to be entered as the follow-up type (next announcement type).
Input:
CHA-SYNCA:ANNTT,ANNTYPE,4,,ON,,23,,,,,,,CONT,50;
2.
Announcement type 19 is to be used throughout for ITR groups 3 and 9 to 11 if the announcement reason is ANNBUSY or WANNHG.
Input:
CHA-SYNCA:ANNMITR,ANNBUSY&WANNHG,3&9&&11,,19;
3.
Announcement type 19 is to be changed to 31 in all announcement matrices for company indices 1 and 6, for all ITR groups and for announcement reason DIDSD.
Input:
CHA-SYNCA:ANNMALL,DIDSD,19,31,1&6;
This command changes those entries in the announcement matrix with ITR index for all 16 ITR groups where the announcement reason DIDSD is assigned announcement type 19. Entries with other announcement types remain unchanged! A change in the announcement matrix independent of destination is done only in case of matching announcement reason and old announcement type.
The entry in the announcement matrix with company index remains unchanged because the announcement reason DIDSD is here not valid. Only for announcement reason WANNAOHK a change can be done.
