MSGLEN
The messages which have to be recorded might be very long and most of the times only the first part of it is of interest for the user. Therefor it is useful (especially with high data traffic) to determine a maximum length of the recorded messages with the command MSGLEN in order to prevent a possible loss of data.
This command just makes sense in connection with a SELMSG-input. The defaultvalue is 16, which is also used if this command is not executed.
