Expected Client Connection

OLTSTRX.CC trace_client_conn_tbl
This table enables the user to set the trace-option for connections, which are not yet built up and where the station has the part of the client. Therefore the user enters the IP address of the partner processor and the portnumber of the partner in this table. Byte order: BIG ENDIAN (corresponds Network byte order). If a TCP user tries to establish a client- connection, the TCP is checking this table and if necessary will switch on the trace option for this socket.
Example:
For unknown reasons CCB can not establish a connection to CCB. By entering the IP address (192.0.2.1) and the portnumber (T’612) of the CCA in this table

and by switching on the tracepoints TCP and TPI with the HICOM tracer, the tester can watch the TCP during the buildup of the connection.
