199.3.2
Notes
•
The IPDA test loop for survivability path (UNIT=SURVPATH) will raise costs because the test is done via charged CO connections.
•
The status "READY" means that the device is free for call processing and for routine tests. This status also implies the following:
–
device contained in customer’s system configuration
–
device is present
–
device plugged into correct slot
–
device is not defective
–
device is not manually blocked for maintenance (via AMO, hardware switch or remote maintenance and administration procedure)
–
device is not hierarchically blocked (by a superordinate device or partner device)
–
device is not in transition to or from the ready status
•
"READY" defines both busy and idle statuses.
•
"BUSY" means the device is seized or blocked by the switching system or by dependability.
•
There are two exceptions from Release 6.0 for routine tests.
1.
When a device (A) is configured as a Keysystem, and this Keysystem (A) takes on the appearance of another Keysystem (B) in a 2-way connection, then the routine test for the device (A) will not run, even when the status shows "READY." This is because the status of device (A) should be "BUSY" (not "READY"), and running the routine test will cause the connection to be dropped.
2.
When an ACD agent is auto-logged on, the device status also incorrectly shows "READY" (instead of "BUSY"). In this case, the routine test also will not run so that the ACD connection is not dropped.
•
It is not possible to switch a voice channel loopback on RLI board if AMO-TSU is called with UNIT = MDL or UNIT = CCT (see T6, T7.1); this loopback is possible, however, in the terminal attached to RLI board (UNIT = T, TYPE = PEN; see T13).
•
Functional terminals can not be tested
•
TMDN diagnostic tests are not possible over CorNet-N trunk links to a generic server (feature ACD-IV). In this case AMO-TSU displays ’F57: TMDN DIAGNOSTIC TESTS ARE NOT POSSIBLE OVER CORNET-N TRUNK LINKS TO GENERIC SERVER’ and stops.
