205.2.2
DEACTIVATE-USSU
Individual LTG or LTUs are deactivated. Deactivation involves setting of state "manual blocking". When the LTG or an LTU is deactivated, all hierarchically subordinate units are also deactivated by the CDC.
Before the LTG or an LTU is deactivated, its state is interrogated. If the LTG or LTU is in a state which does not permit deactivation, no deactivation order is issued and the AMO is terminated after issuing error message F22 to the operator. After the deactivation order has been successfully executed, the operator receives a positive acknowledgement.
For deactivating the LTG the AMO does not wait until the activation job is completed, but terminates immediately issuing advisory message H26. The present loadingstate of LTG is displayed on DB-board.
The AMO also checks whether the deactivation job involves the current reference clock generator. If the current reference clock generator is on the LTG or LTU to be deactivated, and other reference clock generators are present outside the specified LTG or LTU, the operator is prompted for a value for the optional parameter REFOFF with advisory H22.
Message H23 is issued in the event the job affects all reference clock generators. In this case, the user is also warned if the value Y was entered for parameter REFOFF.
The operator can specify what to do with regard to the reference clock by giving parameter REFOFF the apropriate value. The value Y means that, if applicable, the LTG or LTU with the current reference clock supply may be deactivated. The value N means that the LTU with the current reference clock supply should not be deactivated. In this case, the AMO responds by issuing advisory H24 or H27.
The value PROMPT for parameter REFOFF (the default value) means that, in the event the current reference clock generator is within the specified LTU, the operator will be interrogated as to whether or not the LTU should really be deactivated.
