17.2. ADIU - Attenuation of DIUC trunk circuits (CIS) Previous topic Parent topic Child topic Next topic

Feature:

This COT parameter is responsible for the amplification of DIUC trunk circuits for CIS.

Function:

If this parameter is set the relevant DIUC trunk circuits is amplified.
Amplification is required for a connection of a digital trunk group to an analog local exchange. The amplification is carried out in the OpenScape 4000, as the converter of the analog local exchange cannot be set to a higher level. Although it is only required for incoming connections (voice), it has to be set for all connections.
If this parameter is set the TREF matrix is read.
