18.11. IICB - Ignore incoming billing information element Previous topic Parent topic Child topic Next topic

Feature:

Call Data Recording Enhancements (CDRe)

Function:

COT parameter IICB is used to control the analysis of the incoming billing information element in the receiver node.
If the parameter is activated in the COT of a trunk, then the incoming data of the billing information element is discarded.
If the incoming data of the billing information element is to be analyzed, stored and forwarded to call data recording, then the IICB parameter must not be set in the COT of a record.
Cost unit and control information for network-wide call data recording is transported from node to node in the billing information element. The NOTRANS parameter is used to deactivate call data recording in all transit notes of the route, only on the breakout trunk to CO a record is created.
If NOTRANS is used in the network IICB must not be set.
IMPORTANT:
Do not set IICB in conjunction with PINNW (PIN network-wide). The parameter should always be set for digital tie trunk circuits and interface circuits for Hicom 300 nodes less than Hicom 300 E V1.0.

AMO Interrelationships:

COT: SNBE .... Send no outgoing billing information elements to the partner node
LDAT administration of LCR routes ... LATTR (LCR attribute)= ... NOTRANS

Device types:

Digital tie trunk circuits and interface circuits:

Protocol variants:

ECMAV2 (CorNet-NQ Issue 2.1 Dec.96 Basic ETSI), PSS1V2 (CorNet-NQ Issue 2.1 Dec.96 Basic ISO/IEC)
