17.77. TNDV - Tone in end-of-dialing signals activates partner device of trunk Previous topic Parent topic Child topic Next topic

Feature:

Tone switching in end-of-dialing signals
Announcement equipment for synchronous announcements

Function:

If the parameter TNDV is set in the COT of a trunk, the tone sent by the line is not switched through to the partner device, but rather the partner device creates the relevant tone on the basis of the end-of-dialing message sent by the trunk.
Requirement: In the case of the analog trunk or seized outgoing digital S0/S2 trunk, the TNDV parameter must be set, while the TR6T parameter may not be set.
IMPORTANT:
The TNDV parameter generally releases the network-wide applications of announcement equipment for synchronous announcements.

AMO Interrelationships:

COT Classes of Trunks:
TR6T .... Tones are supplied as in 1TR6 CO
ZAND:
COANN .... Switch or release an announcement from the public network to the subscriber during outgoing seizure

Device types:

Analog and digital CO trunk circuits, interface circuits and tie trunk circuits
For example, SOCOD, S2COD, SOCONN, S2CONN, etc.
