Cost unit assignment can be administered for a connection.

In addition to the internal rules, situations can now be defined where a different cost unit is assigned to a connection which deviates from the internal rules. The user-defined rules override the internal rules. If in a call-processing situation both the internal and the user-defined rules could be applied, the cost unit is assigned according to the user-defined rule. This also allows the complete re-definition of internal rules.

The internal rules can also be displayed to make the entire set of rules easier to understand.
