5.18.2.2. SIU for MFC-R2 
Depending on the configuration, you can set up a maximum of 8 MFC-R2
signal receivers and MFC signal transmitters on this. These always operate
in pairs and the configuration is also always in pairs.
Because the signaling described in the preceding is based on the signal
offer, more configurations are needed for outgoing traffic than for incoming
traffic (in the example there are 2 incoming (backward) and 6 outgoing
(forward) configurations):

A virtual SIUX board provides MFC-R2 functionality for
OpenScape 4000 SoftGate/OpenScape Access. The configuration for a virtual
