5.24.1.1.7. ACPNAME (Additional Calling Party Name) Previous topic Parent topic Child topic Next topic

The ACPNAME (PUBNAME) is configured in SDAT. This is the public name to be sent out to the public network.
Within one OpenScape 4000 system, the LATTR PUBNAME in LDAT is the trigger to send the PUBNAME instead of the PERSI name, for any type of trunk, not only for CO.
There is no transport of PUBNAME information element via Cornet, therefore the trigger to send the PUBNAME instead of the PERSI name is at the outgoing point, where the first trunk is seized and call leaves OpenScape 4000 where PUBNAME is configured, even if this is not the break out point (i.e. the last PBX before the public network). If PUBNAME is not set as LATTR in LDAT, the PERSI name is sent.
