The fax machine can be accessed internally or externally by means of combination call number (4444) or by the fax code and station number (4321). Since the latter of these alternatives usually results in an unduly long digit sequence for external callers, the combination number must be used. In the case of calls from an ISDN fax machine, the called station must be configured as a fax terminal.
