All 15 PIN types can be used in a system concurrently. Each PIN type can be assigned with similar and/or different attributes. These attributes are contained in PIN classes called COPIN (class of PIN). The COPINs 1 - 7 and 9 - 15 can be changed with the AMO PERSI; COPIN 8 is an SI PIN type, the initialized values of which may not be changed.

The following PIN attributes can be defined in a COPIN:
