Parameter Description
The AMO LAUTH administers the authorisation codes which are used to access alternate public carriers from a private network.
Up to 4 authorisation codes may be configured for each Internal Traffic Restriction (ITR) group.
The authorisation codes are used by the Least Cost Routing (LCR) feature and are referenced by the LCR outdial rules. See AMO LODR for the configuration of outdial rules.
The correct authorisation code must be configured to provide an ITR group with access to an alternate public carrier. No error is generated if a correct authorisation code is not configured.
The authorization codes are entered in human readable form and are stored in encrypted form on the system.
Due to data security there is no DISPLAY function. The configured codes will only be seen in encrypted form in REGEN. In DELETE and CHANGE the user has to enter the human readable form of the code as it was entered in ADD i.e. to be able to change or delete an entered code the human readable form has to be known by the user.
The encyrpted form from REGEN can be used to regenerate the system. e.g. GENDB
