203.3.3
EXEC-UPDAT
This initiates manual updating regardless of routinely executed updates. In this case, a selection can be made whether the entire database (SUSY= ALL) is to be updated or only those DB subsystems that have been changed since the last update (SUSY=DELTA).
Note
•
Updating the entire database (SUSY=ALL) is only necessary and advisable if the data was changed (patched) manually.
•
During the update, the database is write-protected. This does not apply for the duplex SWU if the base processor is in standby mode. In this case, the update invariably takes place in the standby base processor even if the AMO was started in the active base processor (BP, BPA/BPB).
•
Since SP300-V3.2 SA07 also the PGLIB loading tables (excepting /L00 of LTGs) are written. Possible changes of applications with AMO APC should be done after EXEC-UPDAT, otherwise the changes will be lost.
